Business Manager Dustin Frederick has forty years of experience in public sector Labor negotiations, grievance resolution and collaborative Labor/Management relations. He is a leading Labor representative in Metropolitan King County’s efforts to create an effective Labor/Management partnership receiving specialized training at Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Mr. Frederick is a certified mediator and member mediator of the King County Inter-Local Conflict Resolution Group.

Dustin holds a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Puget Sound and a Bachelor of Commercial Science from Seattle University.

Mary was hired by the Union in July of 1980 to work 4 hours a day. Before long it turned to full-time hours and 36 years later… She values and appreciates the privilege and opportunity to work for a professional, highly-respected Labor organization and embraces the challenges and rewards associated with working for the Executive Board and PSEU members. She especially enjoys meeting the members we represent—putting a face to a name.

 

 

Public Safety Employees Union 519 is an independent Labor Union representing King County employees in: the KCSO, DAJD, DJA, DCHS, DDES, Civic-TV as well as Kirkland Police Lieutenants, Bothell Police Captains, and NORCOM 911 Supervisors. PSEU 519 is a "service" model Union whose primary mission is to represent its members in unparalleled fashion providing the highest quality service.
